Dear members and friends,

At 08:02, on 20 April 2013, an earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale struck the county of Lushan in Ya’an Municipality, Sichuan Province. The International Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives - ICCIC - calls upon its members and friends to demonstrate their Gung Ho spirit by making generous donation to the victims to help them through these hard times, and rebuild their homes. All donations received will be delivered to the victims through either the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (“Youxie”/ CPAFFC), or the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF).

If you wish to make a donation, please make a pledge to the ICCIC by email, stating the amount of the donation, authorizing ICCIC to pass on through the Youxie or CSCLF. Thereupon ICCIC will advance the amount to Youxie or CSCLF. Please make arrangements for payment to ICCIC secretariat in full by end of May in whatever means is most convenient.

We believe that with generous support from all society, the people of Ya’an will soon rebuild their homes!
