On 22 December, 2024, ICCIC members and friends gathered in the Beijing Friendship Hotel to Celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Beijing Friendship Hotel was founded in 1954, formerly known as the western suburb expert guest house. Since its establishment, the museum has shouldered the glorious mission of receiving Soviet experts in China. It is the home of 18000 Soviet experts in China. Until March 9, 1956, it was renamed Beijing Friendship Hotel with the confirmation and approval of Xi Zhongxun, then Secretary General of the State Council, and has been used until now.
Over the years, friendship hotel not only continues to receive foreign experts, but also undertakes the service guarantee task of various government and foreign affairs activities.
As the first batch of foreign-related hotels in Beijing after the founding of new China, friendship hotel has developed together with the motherland; As the bearer of the glorious history of Sino Russian friendship, the friendship hotel has witnessed the continuous and far-reaching friendship between China and Russia from generation to generation.
