Soong Ching Ling & Gung Ho-Cultural Exchange Between China and Western Countries |

On 15 September, 2016, the ICCIC and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation jointly held the “Soong Ching Ling & Gung Ho-- Cultural Exchange Between China and Western Countries” forum in the former residence of Soong Ching Ling. ICCIC chair Michael Crook charged the meeting. More than 80 people, including Tang Wensheng, Vice-Chair of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Brian.Hewson, the New Zealand Counsellor to China, Ai Duo, Director of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation Research Center, Maurice Alley, Rewi Alley’s nephew, Dorothy Waymouth, Rewi Alley’s niece, Peter Jarvis, George Hogg’s grandnephew, Vanessa Dingley, George Hogg’s niece, along with other guests from home and abroad, and the ICCIC members who were in Beijing, attended the celebration. The activities effectively increased the ICCIC’s influence at home and abroad.
